About Our Training Courses
Our chemist/instructors provide a variety of customer training courses in our well equipped training facilities in Oxford. The primary goal is to promote as much hands-on laboratory time as possible (on average 50%), putting into practice the theory and techniques taught in the lecture room. Our objective is to develop the analytical skills of our users, thus maximizing system up time and productivity. All our courses are taught by specialists with many years experience in their individual analytical fields.
We can even undertake the training in your facility, using your own equipment with the curriculum adjusted for your specific needs.

With a dedicated training organisation that specialises in providing training to meet the requirements of our customers, we can customise a course to fit your needs. Our training chemists have over a century of combined experience in the fields of chromatography and spectroscopy.
Varian Training Roadmaps
We now provide Varian Training Road maps (VTR's) for most of our products. This consists of start up training and at least one formalized training course. This is what we would consider as essential training. These extra courses are offered at a 10% discount if purchased before installation and are designed to provide the most cost effective training. The training road map also shows other optional courses available that we would consider as essential training. These options should be completed on the suggested time line based on the instrument options purchased and the experience of the user in relation to the relevant Varian instrumentation

Customer Specific Training
Varian also offers customer specific training for UK based customers. A Varian training department representative will present a training program to one or more of your staff, either at your laboratory or in ours. A wide variety of training sessions are offered, including instrument setup and optimisation, methods development on Varian-support applications, and troubleshooting and maintenance procedures.
