Polar bonded phases
The silica surface of polar bonded phases is derivatized with
polar functional groups. Like non-bonded silica, these packings
are used in the normal phase mode, where they will display a
different selectivity.
Regardless of which phase your application requires, Varian performs
extensive testing throughout the silica manufacturing and bonding
process to insure your column is packed with the highest performance
and most reproducible material available. Your assurances that these
processes are followed are found in the performance data found
on the column quality control report included with each column.
