Microsorb

Varian is one of the small numbers of companies worldwide that manufactures its own HPLC-grade silica gels. Because we control the entire manufacturing process from silica up to the final test of the HPLC column under stringent quality control conditions. We are able to provide HPLC columns with some of the best batch-to-batch reproducibility and performance in the industry.

The Microsorb line is made up of 8 different phases to address all your application needs. The packing material in these columns is also available in our preparative columns and in bulk packing. This makes Microsorb columns the column of choice if your end application is preparative chromatography. Four particle sizes are available which offer even more flexibility in preparative applications.

Microsorb-MV Columns

Microsorb-MV analytical columns provide the same great guaranteed performance but at about half the price. These columns are made from the same silica used in our other Microsorb columns, but they are batch tested rather individually tested once they are packed. The savings is passed on to the customer, making Microsorb-MV columns the best column value available anywhere.
