Integrated protection for long column life
The ChromSep column's ingenious design allows you to use a guard column without introducing any dead volume. By directly fitting the guard column to the top of the analytical column in the same holder, the analytical performance of the column is fully guaranteed.

In addition, your analytical column is protected by a screen on top of the frit. The screen can easily be replaced (if it becomes contaminated) without damage to the packing because the frit remains in place.

The guard cartridges used in the ChromSep Cartridge System are an inexpensive way to protect your more expensive analytical column. As a further savings, these cartridges come bundled in an economical package of 5.
