Bulk Packing Material

Varian is one of a small number of companies in the world that manufactures HPLC-grade silica gels packing materials. Varian currently manufactures spherical silica gels in two pore sizes: 100?, for small molecule separations, and 300 ?, for separations of large molecules and biopolymers.

These silica gels are produced in four particle diameters, each with a narrow particle-size distribution. These silica’s are manufactured in their entirety by Varian, giving us direct control of the entire process.

In addition to spherical materials, Varian also supplies 8μm irregular material for use as a cost-effective packing material for preparative applications.

Varian offer all the Microsorb phases as bulk packing material in quantities of 10 gram, 100 gram, and 1 kg bottles. For larger quantities, please contact you local sales representative.
