GC Columns
CP-Sil 8 CB
By incorporating 5% phenyl groups in the dimethylpolysiloxane polymer, the CP-Sil 8 CB column has a slightly higher polarity than the CP-Sil 5 CB. This results in a better selectivity for aromatic compounds and is generally the best choice when developing a method. The CP-Sil 8 CB shows excellent column-to-column reproducibility and very high column efficiencies. A specially tested version, guaranteed for PCB and pesticide analysis, is also available.
