Retention Gaps

Retention gaps can be used for on-column, splitless injection techniques, large volume injections and for protection of the analytical column. Varian has retention gaps available in 3 different polarities to optimize peak shape. The retention gaps are delivered complete with universal quick-seal connector. The universal quick-seal connector fits all column sizes.

·	Varian's EZ-Guard™ - a unique built-in guard column which eliminates column coupling: so 100% leak-free.
·	Varian also delivers columns with a retention gap coupled and tested for leaks.

Special tabs on EZ-GRIP™ secure up to 15 meters of precolumn, transfer line and retention gap tubing. With EZ-GRIP, the precolumn, transfer line or retention gap tubing is securely mounted to the analytical column, forming a rugged, unified and easy-to-handle column system.

The tabs keep the retention gap in place.
