Galaxie DB provides a relational database for the storage, archival, mining, and retrieval of data within the Galaxie environment. The database plugin stores data as binary large objects (BLOBs) within the database for enhanced data security, as opposed to indexing metadata from a file-based system.

Galaxie DB provides the operator the option to store data in a file-based system, as a BLOB within the database, or a combination of flat files and BLOBs. Store and index multiple formats including chromatographic parameters, libraries, PDF and Microsoft OfficeT to the database for complete data management at your fingertips.

Database management is quick and easy with a graphical interface to easily select properties and fields. Query the database for projects, groups, users, methods, chromatographic peaks, results, and a multitude of other parameters using common language and Boolean logic.
