the thermal characteristics of DNA and proteins. The systems, which can be used
for DNA Thermal Melt Applications, are available in two versions: Varian's BioMelt systems provide unmatched temperature
control, to ensure the highest data quality. Because they use Varian's Cary spectrophotometers,
with a BioMelt system you know the accuracy of your data is always assured, as
you can measure the temperature of the sample within the cuvette. The systems
also include dedicated thermal software that provides a range of calculations
including thermodynamic parameters such as DH
(entropy), DS
(free energy), and DG.
